The Problem

Two days after the quote, the lead's gone cold.

You sent a quote on Monday. By Thursday you haven't followed up because you've been on five jobs and your brain is mash. The customer has either booked someone else or just forgotten. Returning customers ring you about 'that thing you did last year' and you're scrambling to remember which house, which job, which price.
